Every second Wednesday, at 7pm, the 21st Century Photography Meetup Group meets at the North Towne Grill, across from the Northwoods Mall, on River's Avenue.

  • April 8, 2009 North Towne Grill and Seafood (2093 Eagle Landing Blvd. (843) 863-1001) Cost: $2
The April Meet-up Theme is "Space." Don't let that stop you from bringing 10-15 photos, of your choice, theme related or not, though. I may be claiming "empty space" in my brain, like usual.

We have a "show and tell" and enjoy some great food, in a private banquet type room, in the back. Don't forget to try the Mousse Cake. Oh My..

My name tag will say "Heidi." *smile*

***Any photo walks scheduled??*** I'm really interested in some sunset/evening walks.

The LowCountry bloggers have two meet-ups scheduled for April:
"First, our next scheduled meet up is April 16 at the Charleston Maritime Center for the i5k after party. It should be a chance to meet others outside of our usual circle. The i5k is being sponsored by The Digital Corridor. Six of us are running, but everyone is welcome to join in on the fun. There is a $5 fee and the fun begins right after the race which starts at 6:30pm." (full post can be read here..)
To, specifically, not compete with the Palmetto Acoustic Series, at Muddy Waters, in April, The LowCountry Bloggers are meeting on the last Thursday, April 3oth, as opposed to the fourth Thursday, at Carolina Crust, in Hanahan.

We've, personally, tried three of their specialties and have been fully impressed with their fresh ingredients and different approach to Pizza.

The Boy's favorite is The Pesto Chicken and Spinach Pizza. The Pesto is made, in house, with real pine nuts. None of that cheaper walnut thing, is going on , there. He happily added roasted red peppers, to it, too.

Girlie and I really liked The Quattro Formaggio, on our first visit. This pizza is a cheese snob's delight! Did I mention my absolute love of Feta, lately?

Last week, we tried Spicy Southern BBQ Chicken. I don't think I'd call this spicy.. but it was surely good. I was cutting pieces of both the Pesto Chicken and Spinach and The BBQ chicken, and eating them together! OOOhh to the Goat Cheese and BBQ sauce, in one bite. Full of yum!

Carolina Crust also has 3 large screen hi def tv's and a full bar. They are located in Tanner Station, across from the new Super BiLo. (1105 Tanner Ford Blvd, Ste B-6 (843) 553-2662)

Anyone willing to try the special pizza with arugula and sea salt, with me? I can't get anyone, I birthed, to try it. I've, also, never had arugula! Come on, let's live a little. *smile*
